Stayed at the hotel here and popped in for dinner during the evening. The food was brilliant and so was the service. The only thing we found slightly odd was the fact that the staff decided to move all of the tables to set up for breakfast the next day half way through our meal.

Food & drinks: Great food... Even though we had to wait 25mins for dessert it was delicious. Korean chicken goujons, Sea Bass and scallops on a bed of pea risotto, Rhubarb (real) & custard sundae

6 people yesterday for dinner and drinks. Took ages to get our first drink. Then had to wait such a long time for any one to come over without order. After a long wait our starters came. The sharer platter was stale dry crudits the camembert had obviously been overcooked, because it had completely curdled. With stale croutons. We didn't call anyone over because there waz never any one around, waited ages for our next drinks. And the dinners were at best mediocre. I had been forgotten, when dinners finally arrived, and waitress had to be called over, to be reminded after 5 mins. Of not coming. I had ordered a mushroom starter. And well all I can say is mean. Finally we asked for bill which was nearly 200 pounds. Which had it been good wouldn't of minded. It did say all tips are shared out amongst staff. And after speaking yo one of the waitresses, she told us this was NOT the case. This is terrible. Even Gordon Ramsey allows his staff to keep the tips. I proceeded to give a cash in hand tip. To make sure they got it. All in all not a good experience. And shame on you chef and brewer. Where tips are voncerned. Food & drinks: As above. Did not stay in hotel.
