Had a takeaway from here last night. I'm abit fussy when it comes to Indian takeaways but this was great! The quality was as good a some much more expensive restaurants in the area. The prices were like the old days when Indian takeaways were affordable, especially with the 20% off. And they even threw in some free poppadoms! Super quick and website is great with easy payment options. So happy I found this place. My new go to Indian

First time ordering tonight as we wanted to try something different. Harlow Spice did not disappoint. The meals were delicious and very good prices. We will certainly be visiting the restaurant.

AVOID. With multiple choices of Indian restaurants in Harlow, some of which have been around for years, dont bother trying this place as their customer service is non existent. Last night I placed an order around 5:30pm, with total understanding that there maybe a delay due to the snow. Im not ignorant and by all means would have been happy to wait patiently for my order to arrive. However, a hour and half went by still no sign. According to uber the order had been cooked, processed and was out for delivery. After numerous phone calls without answer, I eventually got through to an individual who clearly didnt care and wasnt interested. I was told that the food hadnt even been cooked yet, let alone left the restaurant when I had considered at the time waiting. To be told this, in a rude manner. I asked to cancel, he simply fobbed me off and told me to talk to uber. They are fully capable of cancelling their end. During all of this, there was no updates from the restaurant, there was no contact made to advice of the delay and ask if Id like to continue with my order (which a lot of takeaway restaurants do). It was now around 8:30pm when the driver turned up, thats nearly 3 hours since the initial order being placed. I had told them to cancel the order around 7pm which clearly they didnt bother doing. Happy to take orders but no interest in their customers when theres a issue. As a small business owner myself, its the customers that ultimately pay the bills, pay for the stock, staff, without customers a business wouldnt exist. A little more respect and interest in solving any issues your customers have will go a long way. I personally will never order from this restaurant again, purely down to their service.
