The work was carried out to a high standard and was very reasonably priced. Alin was extremely professional and tidy whilst working, he was on time everyday and the work was completed on schedule. I couldnt have asked for a better builder, he managed to deal with any complications that arose and never faltered. I highly recommend A&D Property Refurbishments as they have exceeded my expectations and I cant praise them enough. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE! Take this as a warning. Started off really well, but failed to finish the job. Put a cupboard interior badly causing damage to the part. Only way it can be fitted correctly is by removing quartz worktop. Refused to make good. Had to get other builders in to correct errors, some of which could not be corrected without complete removal and enormous cost. Regrettably, the cost of putting it right was in excess of the 900 I held back. I still have protective plastic on inaccessible panels, paint on one panel, a swinging kidney unit that does not swing as it was put in incorrectly, a light fitting that is 'hanging' from the ceiling. and a botched job on sealing the tiles under the wall units. The 5 year guarantee is, unfortunately, worthless. I have now had to have all the lights replaced as the ones installed by them were a fire risks, Siemens have advised that they are unable to remove the hob without breaking the worktop, it should never have been sealed, and the kidney fitting in the cupboard cant be re fitted properly without removing the worktop. We hired Alin to renovate the ground floor of our terraced house. It involved knocking down a wall, installing a WC under the stairs and putting in new floors, new kitchen and decorating the space. He gave us an itemised quote which was clear and competitive. When he and his team started the job they were quick and thorough with a great attention to detail. Alin was always quick to respond to questions and good at solving the inevitable issues that cropped up. We ended up getting him to do our garden too whilst he was on site. We are thrilled with the end result and wouldnt hesitate to hire him again for further work. Highly recommended!
