Used to be really good until it merged with Addision house. Now it is one of the worst in essex. Only see 30% of patients face to face now. You can only get a face to face if you first have a phone call.

Excellent surgery I was a patient for nearly 15yrs Excellent service...DR IPACHI was an excellent Dr.he was extremely missed after his retirement. I have now moved out of the area, but I have good experience with the surgery

Since the merge with Addison House this surgery has drastically gone down hill. There simply isn't any drs here anymore. If your lucky enough to get a call from a Dr they won't see you themselves they send you to hospital to see the GP. The receptionists are rude, aggressive and the most unprofessional I've ever encountered.

Second day in a row when I leave work early to get there at 6, closed although closing time is 6:30. Also, not very nice reception staff sometimes, there are 2 receptionists who are especially rude. Really poor service. And just to clarify that I am talking about the receptionists at Barbara Castle and not at Addison House. I have, however, noticed that they are nice with British people so maybe a little bit racist?

I am very disgusted with the (receptionist) & (nurse) they have no people skills no sensitivity skills and theyre attitude towards patience is just vile I do not know what kind of people they are hiring in that Surgery its actually really embarrassing to see what kinda people they are taking on ,if only their bosses could see the manner and the attitude they are giving out to sick people , people with mental health and people that are in need they really need to think about how they are affecting people because some people do not take it lightly Im just really disappointed Im not the first or the last to say this and clearly there is a problem so I really do think the surgery needs to take this in because clearly its an occurring thing And the problem always comes from the same place so why not train your nurses and receptionists with some manners attitude and sensitivity training of which they have none off and dont get me started about the lying how unprofessional
