Couzens Bakery and Coffee Lounge

Nice cafe in the Harvey centre harlow upstairs but sadly I've noticed the sandwiches aren't as good hardly any filling in the sandwiches and bread is thick doorstep bread should be more filling with such thick bread use to be great sandwiches.

Very unfriendly staff and tbh I think their racist my partner who is mixed race went to get some food we was before people the woman served the white people before us and kept giving my partner very nasty dirty looks but was polite to everyone else will not be coming back also the sausage rolls were very pink my daughter did not want to eat it she took one bite and it was all mushy for their price I would rather go greggs for that price

What a shambles Ive been going for many years and having filter coffee all of a sudden they dont serve filter coffee and what coffee you do have is served in a paper cup Bacon sandwich was awful full of fat not nice and crispy and my husband sausage sandwich with more fat than sausage. Definitely will not be going again

Couzens bakery, this place is amazing. Staff are always so helpful and friendly. I live in Enfield and go all the way to Harlow for this place. Sausage rolls beautiful, the door stop sausage sandwiches amazing, carrot cake out of this world! Better than any bakery I've ever known. Went there to get some carrot cake for my daughter's birthday the other week, was told that they would've made a slab of carrot cake if they'd have known. Went out of their way to try and do something. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Even goes for the eat in restaurant upstairs in the Harvey center. Proper old school and what a bakers should be. Only wished Couzens had more shops!
