This was a last minute break for us as never been to a forest holiday location before . We were 15 minutes early to check and was told by the member of staff nope you have to come back at 4 pm and stand there . It was like been a school child came back after we went shopping stood where we were told and the staff was like invisible to us . Cabin 47 golden oak was right near the reception area actually just across road but was made to drive the full length of estate to make a turn in the road . Cabin itself looked ok on first inspection the inside needed the mass of con webs taken done from around the windows . Outside the decking was absolutely covered in leaves twigs dirt . I know youre in a forest but for some one arriving it clearly wasnt swept as the outdoor brush was broken . You now have a fully functioning brush as I had to set on and clear the mess everywhere up . Looked for free log roll to lite fire nope not there . I when asked in the reception which took for ever the girl behind the counter to acknowledge me or her colleague in the shop I was told oh I dont think we are doing it now why put it on your welcome pack then . Apart from the few things we did find we enjoyed our stay here peaceful and quiet and loads of wildlife .
