Can't fault our experience at Formby hall, it was everything we wanted for a weekend spa retreat I did have a little mix up when booking online I thought I had selected spa couples overnight package. As it got closer and I hadn't heard anything I rang to confirm details. I was told I had only booked bed and breakfast and that the original package offer had finished. I was a little disappointed, we were due to arrive in a week and it was for a birthday treat. I can honestly say the individual i spoke to didn't hesitate and sorted the issue within a few minutes. They made a few adjustments and reorganised everything. I can honestly say from the spa experience, the food and the room we were not disappointed at all!!! We did go for our evening meal and breakfast during quieter times (which meant an 8am breakfast) and it was nice and peaceful so can't comment on busier times. The breakfast had everything you could need and would expect - in the form of self sevice continental and full English breakfast items. Plenty of choice to satisfy anyone's preferences. I would certainly book here again and would recommend a spa stay to anyone who just wanted to treat themselves.
