Butterbrook Coach House is beautifully finished and cosy cottage situated right on the south edge of stunning Dartmoor National Park. You can walk straight up onto the moor from your door or for those cyclists among you pick up the Puffing Billy trail on your Mountain Bike or just down the road follow the Tour of Britain route up and around this beautiful area. Friendly hosts Heather and David will be there for any top tips on places to go activities to do or just where to best enjoy the beauty and peace and quiet of the area. Highly recommended

Highly recommended! We loved staying in this pretty cottage. Warm and welcoming, we knew from the moment we were greeted by a jug of fresh spring flowers and generous welcome treats that we would have fun. Everything we needed was there, and spotlessly clean. Stunning design, and incredibly warm, (loved the log burner with plentiful supply of logs) comfortable and cosy. A truly magical place. Heather and David were exceptionally welcoming and kind. To be on a working farm in such a setting on Dartmoor was extraordinary. The Visitors book speaks for itself of happy holidays and so many wanting to return just as we do! For us it was a chance to be with our small Devon grandchildren. They showed us their favourite beach Mothercombe, where sadly we just missed The Gruffalo who they were pretty sure lived in the woods by the path down to the beach! The highlight for them was definitely meeting the hens that had laid their teatime boiled egg. Then watching David working Jess the sheepdog, and meeting the magnificent gentle giant of a Hereford bull. They will always remember that day. Thanks to Heather and David for a really happy break.
