Muddy Boots Cafe

Nice little stop off point when walking around Harewood House. Ordered a truffle egg mayo sandwich and a soft drink which was tasty. Service was swift and efficient. Outdoor seating available (including the option to eat indoors) with toilet amenities available. Slightly on the higher end (price wise) for takeaway but good experience overall.

Came for the early May bank holiday weekend after some positive reviews. The walk around Harewood house was beautiful but the cafe experience was poor. I picked the coronation chicken, however it was a long way below expectations. Stale bread, dry chicken and a lowly amount of filling made it a poor tribute to King Charles IIIs big day next weekend. The staff seemed very stressed - perhaps brought on by the bank holiday - but it wasnt busy and I overheard others with a similar impression. One to avoid if possible.

A bit disappointing very limited menu. Dont do chips. Presentation of food unimaginative. No flexibility on dishes. Menu needs updating have lo ts of suggestions. Service not good when busy
