Goddard Veterinary Group Caterham

I could not recommend this veterinary group for rabbits. They dont know very much at all about rabbits and their prices are extortionate. They dont seem to understand the delicacy of rabbits. last time I was there I needed the vet to help me feed the rabbit critical care and some meds, she was so rough and in hurry to get it done. She didnt give the poor bunny a second to chew the food she was giving to him, shoving it in his mouth with no care what so ever. I think that particular visit traumatised my bunny and we ended up in so much trouble with our rabbit. Working as a vet should be about caring for the animals and understanding their delicacy and their needs. rabbits especially, are very fragile creatures as they are prey animals and they tend to be scared more than any other animal. Knowing this fact, the vet should be very gentle and understanding of the rabbits needs. also their emergency vets are no where near here. To any rabbit owners I would not recommend you bring your rabbits here. they dont understand their needs and certainly dont care how fragile these buns are. there are plenty of vets around. Thats the last time we be taking our rabbits there. This review is only for the Godards at Caterham.

Having moved to Goddards several months ago, I have been very pleased with the service provided. Both the vets I have seen, the veterinary nurses and the receptionists have all been really helpful, friendly and efficient. Im so pleased I made the move.

Very professional,from the very kind & helpful receptionist who took my call & the friendly receptionist who greeted us when we arrived at our appointment the wonderful Vet whom was so kind & compassionate, she had such a lovely attitude,for me everything you need & want when you are worried about your precious animals. I highly recommend this practice.

Hit and miss. Arrived for an appointment on Saturday, waited in reception for 30 minutes passed our appointment time and no one was there or came to say things were running late. There wasnt an emergency as we could hear a casual conversation on the back. The phone was constantly ringing and obviously no one was around to answer it. I hope someone didnt have an emergency for their pet! Ive been coming here for a few years. Some of the vets are lovely, but there have been a couple who were not accommodating and actually pretty rude. The nurses are generally very good. But theres definitely room for improvement in the service they provide.
