I always wondered if out of body experiences were real. Today, I got the answer when I was faced with this dazzling design. I opened the window as I drove past the incinerator as I gasped for fresh air after nearly fainting from the splendid sight of this building.

Knocked a couple of stars off because its so hard to see. No idea why they made it so subtle - it completely disappears into the Cotswolds countryside and you can drive past and barely even notice it! I even brought friends all the way from Lon-don as theyd heard rumours of this masterful feat of modern architecture and wanted to see with their own eyes. But as we approached it was so hard to spot I had to slow down to a crawl, thereby attracting rage and annoyance from other road users. But I think they just about saw it and went home to London knowing nothing there would compare. Just a shame the nearby garden centre spoils the view with its gaudy signage

The Milk Lizards (The North East's premier Surf band) accepted a gig down in Bristol just to have an excuse to drive past this beautiful piece of architecture. They were not disappointed and were inspired to create a brand new tune, live, on stage, that very evening.

Redolent of the Sydney Opera House but benefiting from the rural Gloucestershire backdrop, this masterpiece is the highlight of any trip to the region.

"The Cricket " on the side of the M5 Gloucester is a funny appealing intriguing building that somehow melts and stands out in its surrounding countryside. It was so intriguing we had to find out what it was. It turns out to be Gloucester's green solution for producing energy from waste! Well done Gloucester!
