Nice car park, seems well maintained, parking is fairly cheap but bring coinage as it doesn't accept card! This is the perfect car park for one of two walks, either the Harescombe Beacon, or Standish Wood. The car park links the two locations.

Lovely place to park up and go for a walk. Good for dog walkers and sight seeing the views are beautiful weather permitting of the valley, seven bridge, river Severn and surrounding areas right over to the Forest of Dean and much further. Keen photographers can catch awesome sunrise and sunset. Also watch the thunder and lightning strike up the river absolutely stunning!!. Very nice woodland walk off to the left and plenty to see for interested in wildlife and nature.
