Precious Paws Cat Rescue

We approached Precious Paws to hand over our cat due to personal circumstances but our circumstances since changed. Upon making enquiries for rehoming our cat, the owner of the cat home was very forthcoming but day later when our circumstances changed and asked if we could take our cat back, I was ignored, spoken to in a rude and very insensitive patronising manner by Bev, the admin lady. When I expressed my feelings towards how she came across on her email communication she said she was very busy and rushed at the time of her email. Giving our cat away has not been an easy choice and has been very distressing for us as a family but what has caused us more distress is the lack of empathy, lack of understanding and the heartless response from Bev. Their procedures have not been transparent in how they find a new home for our cat. We were told our cat would be in the home for a while till there was a suitable family, out of the blue when asked if we could take back our cat a day later, as our circumstances changed, I was told she had already been rehomed. This was distressing to hear. I feel we have been mislead. I would not trust this 'charity'. The communication after handing your cat/kitten would not be forthcoming and would certainly not be handled in a sensitive manner, as you would expect.

Prescious Paws does amazing work with feral cats and long-term strays, which are often overlooked by other rescues. They deeply care for each animal and always look for the best solution for each cat.

Great response times, run by lovely people our kittens are great. They are a bit difficult to find on the road.

A delightful little gem nestling beside the canal and the Colne Valley Country Park. We only stayed for a coffee and a piece of cake but we were treated like royalty ! Such delightful people there. Park in Harefield and enjoy the gentle stroll down to this exquisite cafe with a warm welcome
