I have used Mersea many times it the past for various dinghy trailers. However, I have recently been subjected to what appears to be fraudulent or unscrupulous dealings by an employee ("Dieter" - but this might be some sort of alias as he is also listed as "Bill" on the "delivery" details) who has bid on eBay items without any intention of paying for, or collecting the goods. I judge companies on the types they employ. I shall not be dealing with Mersea again!

Awful service, I emailed them using there contact form to ask for the size of the brake hub on a trailer (not a difficult thing to provide in my opinion) 2 days later and still no response from them so a 2nd request was sent asking same question but including how disappointed i was in the lack of a reply to a simple question. I then received a reply stating my request had been passed on to there engineers and do i want the brake pads also . My first Email made no mention of wanting any parts only the size of the brake drum . I waited a few days and still no response from there engineers so i mailed again and the response was that its only been a week since my first email How long does it take to look up a number and email it back to a customer ? another email was sent expressing my disappointment in there response and service to which i was told there busy and it could be some time before an engineer contacts me . From this response i have concluded that my request will be totally ignored and i many thanks but i will not be holding my breath awaiting a reply from yourself. Granted i may have been impatient but how difficult is it to look up a part and email the info to a customer ? As yet i still have not received the info i first requested Awful service in my opinion .
