The location is peaceful and quaint. The house beautiful outside and inside. Ornate ceiling mouldings stunning staircase and typical 1820s dignitary decor. Kitchen modern and everything you need to cater for. Lounge large and very comfy. There is a bar area that was popular and well laid out. Our bedroom was large and well laid out. But wardrobe space very small and bed mattress was almost like slender an air bed. Not the best nights sleep. We had the room that had use of the main bathroom only. Toilet was not fixed to the floor so when getting off the toilet it would move. (Owners need to consider health and safety) When using the shower it was fine even if water pressure was low. But if somebody else in the house used their shower the heat of the water would be tepid. I am a builder and I have an understanding of cimercial plumbing to service a property of this size and the owners need to address this. Ding room was nice and large. Lastly the internet was appalling intermittent and weak. As a business owner I needed to be able to read emails or be able to use google and that was difficult. The grounds were well kept and tidy. We enjoyed our wedding stay. BUT !!!!

Driving towards Sandwell Manor down the winding roads was so magical, the birds were singing and the sun was shining. On arrival we were welcomed with some delicious baked treats (thank you!) The rooms were so light, airy and spacious and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sheets were high quality. Each room having its own en suite was great too. The kitchen was a great space to catch up with friends and family and was very well equipped. The snug and the lounge were also great spaces to unwind. As the sun was shining we spent a lot of time relaxing on the lawn, it was so peaceful and tranquil. There is a tennis court you can book if you fancy a game. It was the most wonderful weekend away with family and friends, we all commented on how amazing our stay was, the best we have shared together, mainly due to the beautiful setting. Finally, Kizzy was the best host, the booking process was smooth and easy, available if needed but also left to our on devices, a perfect balance. We highly recommend staying at Sandwell Manor, it is a hidden treasure!

A great house and garden in beautiful surroundings which suited our extended family of 14, age range 5 - 70, plus the dog brilliantly. Plenty of space to be together or to find a quiet corner. Kizzy was also a brilliant host, there to help if needed or happy to leave us to it.
