Lovely, peaceful retreat that was within easy reach of so many places of interest within Devon. Great communication with the host prior to, and during, our stay. Beds were very comfortable and nice cosy feel to the main living space with the hearth Nice touch to receive the welcome wine and cake on arrival:)

We had a terrific week in Gavan's barn. Very well prepared from a cleanliness perspective in the times we live, so we felt safe in the property. Beyond that, the barn is a really homely place, suitably quirky in typical South Devon fashion. Plenty of space for 6 of us, lovely local surroundings and great places to visit and things to do, very useful in an unseasonably cold and wet week.

This is a lovely converted barn with a pleasant courtyard for eating outside in and a beautiful walled garden to relax in. The kitchen is well equipped. Its next to a compact stately home with beautiful gardens you can look at as you stroll about the estate. Harberton village with pub is quarter of a mile away, Totnes is 2 miles away and there are lots of beaches about 30 minutes away. Dartmoor is also less than half an hour away.
