They used to have halal HMC stamps on the lamb but this is no longer the case.
I've also seen them receive British chicken with no indication of halal on them and the worker rushes this inside so no one sees.
Suspicious?
The halal "certificate" on the front window does not specify this store nor is it renewed annually. To add to this, they wrote "hmc" in pencil on the certificate. You can google what an actual HMC certificate looks like, this is NOT it. Furthermore, you can go to the HMC website to view certified stores, this one is not listed.
I really doubt the meat here is consistently halal, if ever. Appears to me that it is mixed meat but simply labelled as halal.
Won't be buying from here again.
I've attached a photo of the certificate for reference.
Also, I suspect a lot of the reviews are fake so beware.
