A lovely little gem in Norfolk! So very different from many other churches I've been to. HOWEVER, DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS FOR THIS. My partner and I attempted to follow it, only to be led down a small track, which turned into a forest trail, which turned into just a bunch of nettles and a fence. There was obviously once a road there, many eons ago, but it is no longer. To access this unique find you have to go through the ornate gatehouse for Gunton Hall marked "Strictly Private" and follow the drive past numerous other "Private" and "Strictly Private" warning signs placed there to welcome you. Then you continue past the front of the hall, (and more "Private" signs) where you will then find the only sign that acknowledges you are allowed public right of access to the church (which is still occasionally used for services and open daily at this time) and points you in its direction. Follow the path to the church (but not too far, or you're back in Private gardens again!) and enjoy it's one-of-a-kind, classical splendour! Absolutely thrilled we finally made it to see this unique jewel.
