Noteworthy details: Good for training courses ,conferences etc. Extremely pleasant , very impressive decor Longer area very comfortable. 4 stars.

It was my 1st time staying at this hotel, and despite the standard rooms looking tired, I didn't have an issue sleeping. Upon checking in I was allocated a room at eh front of the hotel, but as I was going to be working nights I requested a room at the back of the hotel as I didn't want to be woken up by the sound of the A40. However, If I was sleeping at night I don't think this would have been an issue. The gym at the hotel is of a decent size and has plenty of cardio and free weight in there so it easy to keep up on your fitness. Service at the hotel on the whole, was good. There was a little hiccup with one of the servers are breakfast, but the issue was soon sorted out, they just need to improve their attitude when talking to customers. However, I must say the person that was most outstanding during my whole stay at the hotel has to be the Food and Beverage Supervisor - *Corina*. Her service and attention to detail was a joyful experience and was missed when she had her 2 days off. Sadly I wasn't able to try out the dinner menu as i was either heading to work or sleeping. If you have a choice between this hotel and the other IHG hotel down the A40. I would pick this one. I'll look forward to saying her again. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a room upgrade with my status next time and see how the club rooms are.
