NO GUARANTEE Bought a 10mm thick P Bath from Bathshop321 via their ebay outlet. Prior to purchase specifically asked re manufacturer, some sizing and any warranty. A company representative emailed the manufacturer as Ideal Standard and the bath had a 25 year guarantee 'with us' signed off with the company address. We made the purchase decision on that basis. As a complete bathroom redesign we experienced delays in getting trades and then covid. The bath had been inspected for damage as the delivery guy hovered making us rush. Only when trying to install did we discover a slight 5mm dip in the 'straight' wall edge meaning a 2mm seal top and bottom and 7mm in the centre. This would be unsightly and cause water pooling and seal failure over time. We contacted Ideal Standard with images and dimensions and they confirmed faulty, not to fit it and to contact Bathshop321 for a refund. The bath had a 25 yr guarantee as fit for purpose right? WRONG. Bathshop first denied the guarantee, then denied it as the author no longer worked for the company! then denied it was 'with us' but was with the manufacturer (contrary to Trading Standards advice and their email) Long story short they refused any refund or free replace and said we caused the damage ourselves. We had stored the bath on its legs as it would in a bathroom but in a spare bedroom whilst work done. This 'quality' thick bath therefore started to sag all on its own. Neither Bathshop321 nor Ideal Standard will accept any liability leaving us with a loss. Going through Citizens Advice and Trading Standards didnt help as Bathshop321 said the guarantee 'was a mistake' and were believed!!! Beware none of the 'guarantees' on their website say who with and on fitted goods they do not honour guarantees blaming fitting let alone unfitted goods! Also refused Director contact details for any legal action. Only buy from them accepting the risk you have no guarantee, it is a mistake.

Ordered a bath. Given a delivery day. Took a day off work. Bath didn't arrive. No reason offered. No responses to emails. No idea when it's going to be here. Utterly awful company.

We came here to get a freestanding bath - we couldnt afford the bath and feet I had my heart on so we bought one with different feet here and weve sourced the very specific ones Id like elsewhere. This has halved the price and I cant see any difference in the quality! Unfortunately I dont know the name of the man who served us but he was really friendly. He gave us advice about the bath and the toilet and towel rail we also ended up buying. Were renovating a whole house and some places weve been have been really pushy but he wasnt, giving us time to think without pressure. We havent finished installing our bathroom yet but Im really happy with the products we bought, especially the price, and would happily come back again.
