We recently spent a pleasant 5 nights at this pretty site. We were pleasantly welcomed by the owners husband who directed us to our pitch and informed us where everything was. We were on pitch 2 which overlooked 2 of their lakes where angling takes place. Ducks and geese are plentiful along with rabbits. There was one water point available fir filling up your water tank. A toilet dispisal point was also available. I was surprised that ni recycling was in place. There was 1 ladies toilet with a separate shower which was lovely and warm as the heating was on low in the room. The water was hot and powerful. The temperature was easily controlled. The shower was clean along with the room, however, there is a need for high dusting/cleaning as it has many large webs along with spiders. A grab handle would also be a good safety addition as I nearly fell trying to get out of the shower due to a new knee and damaged ankle. There was a separate disabled toilet opened by the use of a Radar Key, but I was surprised to find no shower. You can obtain snacks from the shop where covid restrictions were implemented. The site is secured by a pair of enormous steel gates which were operated by a code. One downside was the road noise during the day as it was a busy road leading to Knowle where there were many pubs/wine bars and all sorts if eateries. One night we had fish and chips from the chip shop which wasn't very good, in dact all the chips went in the bin. There were also some "fine dining restaurnts" available. There were a couple of independent shops which offered good quality items. The owners were very pleasant & helpful which was the opposite to some reviews I read b4 booking. We would definitely recommend this pleasant CL site and would like to return again one day. Wishing the owners all the best. Mary & John, South Wales, UK.
