    On booking in we had an issue with our room and complained at the front desk. Lucasz the director of operations personally got involved and resolved everything with the highest level of professionalism I think I have ever received. The rest of our stay over 9 nights was fantastic. The breakfast with Kim(?) looking after us was again of the highest quality. To be honest Lucasz and the team are building a great experience and while everything was not perfect their attitude and welcome made up for so much. Happily rate our stay 5 stars. Rooms: The deluxe twin are roomy and well equipped.

    Went for a work event and found the setting very scenic and relaxing. Wish I'd had more time to enjoy it. The 3 course Lunch was excellent quality, with each course served promptly and simultaneously to all seated at each table. Much better than previous events I've attended where guests are served according to the dish they ordered, meaning some are waiting while others at the table have theirs and are unsure whether or not to start eating. The bar staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating of delegates' requests. There was also plenty of water and glasses on each table in the meeting room. The only thing I would have changed would have been to have a coffee machine and "regular" teabags (not just herbal and Earl Grey) in the meeting room, as we had to go out to the shared seating area, where there was a long queue, for refreshments, which took up most of our break. The large urns of filter coffee may be more practical for mass catering but people now expect Espressos, Lattes and Cappuccinos as a matter of course, especially after getting up very early to travel to an event! Otherwise couldn't fault the facilities
