As mentioned. Services charges are unreasonable and despite asking for breakdown of costs - I get nowhere. My close has 4 pieces of grass area and those are dead! The cost of looking after those is 4,155.84 a year. It makes me sick. Hastoe is meant to be a caring lot. Believe me they are not! I hope they are enjoying their opulent lives while their tenants pay for it!

First class service from Hastoe this morning. The television aerial in our building was faulty. Spoke to Customer Services at 9.30. By 11.20 a work team had been here and replaced the water damaged part. M J Broom, Royal Sussex House, Chichester

Hall way flooded by contractor twice ,pointing work outside not done so left with damp plaster in bedroom water running down lounge walls due upstairs balcony not fixed properly for 17 years contractor would not replace a six pound part on a thermostat also electric supply only checked once since 1994 I moved in 2006 the list goes on all this damp water is great for my asthma water running down the walls and bedroom window was marked as urgent in early November twice had wires burning from their contractors .This housing association should be shut down before someone gets seriously injured NEGLIGENCE

About as responsive as roadkill. The only time they even bother to make an effort is when you complain. Always use the excuse of being short staffed and have done so for years so either it's a business decision to stay short staffed to save money or it's such a terrible place to work that no-one stays for longer than a week.

I have called up for many repairs and nothing gets done. They promise the earth on the phone or by email but you are forever chasing for the work to be completed. I have severely damp walls as well as black mould that I clean daily and is back by the morning. They tried to blame me and stated I must dry clothes in the house or don't use the heating. I constantly have my heating on 21.5 and even bought a tumble dryer so nothing is ever air dried. I still have the problem. In the communal hallway it is so grotty and has mutiple hazards. I fell down the stairs due to loose trim on the stairs which I reported a year ago and chase weekly. It still hasn't been fixed. All they do in return is increase my service charge. I pay more than the other residents as they are on the old contracts. They pay 20 pm and I pay nearly 80pm. How they can do this when an animal wouldn't even live in the communal hallway as it is in such a state of disrepair. Fed up of wasting my time calling and putting in formal complaints for no action to be taken. I have paid privately for work just to make my property safe for my daughter. Do not rent with such a poorly run company who have been short staffed in the 3 years I have rented through them. Clearly nobody stays due to the lack of professionalism.
