LSI College is an exceptional private sixth form, primarily due to its unusually kind, empathetic and highly professional and experienced staff. Dr Sean Buckley (and last year Michael as well) routinely goes out of his way to help and the teachers are especially welcoming and put a student on a good path very quickly. The build and location are amazing I could not recommend more. It is surprising that this hidden gem has not yet been fully discovered.

As previously mentioned this is a "wonderful school." From a parent's perspective one really could not ask for more. It was clear from the onset that our child would be given the opportunity to fulfil their potential at LSI. The College's size and small classes create a fantastic learning environment with outstanding teaching delivered by subject specialist. That said, LSI is not just about a student's academic progress. It places pastoral care at the heart of it's curriculum and goes the extra mile to ensure that all students feel supported at this crucial time in their lives. In addition, they have a very experienced and approachable Leadership Team ever ready to advise parents and guarantee that everything runs smoothly. I can not recommend LSI enough to any prospective parent or student!

The teachers at LSI are amongst the most supportive and dedicated I have ever encountered. Having realised during my History undergraduate that I wanted to go on to become a doctor I had to perform quite a dramatic academic U-Turn this past year. I hadnt participated in a science related course since year 11 and the thought of doing a one-year chemistry A-Level was unsurprisingly quite daunting. Yet, from the first day, I felt so welcomed into the LSI community, which is best described as a family (excuse the clich). Trying to balance a degree with an A-Level was tough but at no point did I ever feel unsupported as a result of the dedication of those who were continually helping me. When I received my first offer for interview with only a weeks notice, the school had a comprehensive practice interview arranged for me almost straight away. In terms of the teaching itself, I was approached with all the godly patience needed to deal with someone who has had a 6-year hiatus from chemistry. Every practical was not only stimulating, but also incredibly fun as a result of passionate teaching and lovely classmates. I have finished this year, not only with the results I needed to accept my offer for medicine, but with a genuine passion for science that I am excited to explore over the rest of my life. I will be forever indebted to LSI for the warmth, flexibility and attentiveness it has offered me over the past year. I simply cannot recommend the school enough.
