I am leaving a tow star and not one only because the chef was working alone in a full pub without any support. From what we ordered the burger was dry and burnt in places, and the bun was stale. The prawns were not cleaned and were overcooked. the chicken and the mushroom where overcooked too. The fish was really good as well as the chorizo and cheese croquettes. The toilets are not locking.

Went here for a Sunday roast, given the reviews not incredibly high expectations. The beef was far too cooked for my personal tastes, the potatoes very fluffy and with no crunch, the horseradish advertised on the menu was some entirely tasteless cream-based liquid. Yorkshire pudding was average at best. Service was reasonable, though nothing to write home about. All in all, a very average meal, with no significant negatives but certainly no positives, although I have nothing but praise for the servers I interacted with.
