Montadito Original Spanish Delicacies

This small shop in Hampstead is a real treat to visit as the products are sourced with great care and are all wonderful. The main attraction for me is their interesting selection of artisan cheeses, mostly Spanish, but I have also bought some great French, Italian and English cheese there. Once I've got my cheese it's difficult not to be tempted by everything else in the shop - all sorts of delicious things in jars like romesco, unusual types of Spanish honey, some wonderful French butter, Spanish olive oil biscuits etc. I also recently recommended the on-line service to friends during lockdown and they were thrilled with the quality of the cheese and cured meats as well as the service they received. Very highly recommended.

The proprietors of this small cheese shop really get to know your taste and constantly try out new cheeses with you. As I write this I am hooked on the truffle manchego they introduced me to. Yes it's no bargain but once you have visted you'll return.

Best place to get delicious cheeses from Spain, France, Italy and beyond! Eva and Victoria are neighbourhood gems who are happy to help recommend treats and are both friendly and charming.
