Popped in on the off chance of getting a Sunday dinner and they were more than accommodating. It was packed and with two staff down they had roped in every member of their family to help. At one point I thought a coach must have pulled up outside as about thirty people traipsed in but the owner wasn't phased. A lovely meal and excellent service.

A proper country pub! 3 of us visited here twice yesterday. Once for a lemonade and to use the toilet before a walk, and then many hours later for a well deserved dinner. I was tempted to stay here with a beer whilst my mates walked! The food was tasty & home cooked, and really set us up for a very last minute idea to set up camp in a field for the night. Great service, and tasty food! We was surprised it being so quiet on a Saturday evening, but hopefully it was a quiet point, and this pub is used regularly by visitors to the area. Thanks again
