Upper Hurst Farm Caravans Camping & Glamping

Brilliant site, very well kept with probably the best facilities I have seen. Stayed in late April in our touring caravan. The pitch was brilliant - close to the hookup and water waste is piped out on the pitch so no messing about with waste water. Very pleased to see a comprehensive recycling system too! The toilets were immaculately kept and the showers powerful enough, warm enough and with no time limit/additional charge. Travelling distance from absolutely loads of cool things in the Peak District. We absolutely loved our stay here and we will definitely be back!!

Our 1st night out in the van and upper hurst did not disappoint . Our pitch was probably on the expensive side at 38 a night but the site was perfect . Really nice heated toilet and shower block with washing facilities and a little shop open in the day , patches have electric and water points , fire pit hire , stunning views and only a couple minutes drive from Hartington village Walkability: Situated by Hartington your spoilt for choice for stunning walks

I recently stayed at this accommodation and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The host has charged me 132.49 for mud on the sheets following a period of heavy rainfall, which is an unreasonable charge as it is a natural occurrence that is beyond the control of guests. When I declined to pay the charge, the host became rude and used offensive language, calling me delusional and resorting to writing me a negative review. I was extremely disappointed by the host's unprofessional behaviour and lack of hospitality. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and kindness, and this was not the case at this yurt. I do not recommend staying here to anyone, as the host's behaviour is unacceptable and has negatively impacted my experience. Choose a different place if you want to avoid a similar situation.
