We spend a week in the cottage. It was the best stay that we had for a long time. We are family of 5 with the youngest just turn 3. Kids loved it! Trails are very close to the cottage and we felt like we are in the centrum. Not having signal outside the cottage was a blessing and we could truly enjoy nature and views. Vicky is such a lovely lady! Very professional but kind. Village is so lovely and people are very friendly! Ice cream after a long day out where the best! Truly amazing place to stay! We will definitely be back in the future!

Perfect location, lovely walks from the cottage. Excellent detailed info pack sent to us a month before we came so we were able to make pub bookings (need to book currently as pubs only reopened a week ago after lockdown). Cottage spotlessly clean and comfy, and very well maintained, with excellent modern kitchen appliances. Sunny spot with picnic table behind cottage. Liked that all cleaning materials, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid provided. Also in kitchen supplies of condiments, oil, starter supplies of tea, coffee, milk, bread. Lovely homemade marmalade and bottle much appreciated. Can buy fresh laid eggs 10 yards away. Lots of attention to detail. We enjoyed the lovely open fire. Comfy beds, good quality sheets and lovely soft large towels provided. Underfloor heating in modern bathroom with lovely deep bath and high quality separate shower. Plentiful hot water. Wifi very reliable and fast- no cut outs at all. (NB No mobile phone signal) A lovely family holiday close to walks and peaks, close to family attractions Within 5 minutes you can head up a lovely peak for great views or walk to Dove dale stepping stones and a great location for exploring the rest of Peak District, great walks for children nearby and beautiful area. Tissington bike trail is great for children, with a car park nearby. Lovely big main bedroom. The facilities and decor where very good and it felt homely. Matlock bath only 35minutes away and other family attractions, heights of Abraham, Crich Tram village, Bakewell village, and Chatsworth is worth a visit. All peak district roads are narrow, and this area was no exception.
