Fabulous wonderful excellent outstanding welcoming friendly! After searching for weeks looking for somewhere in to stay in the peaks/Alton area I came across limestone farm cottage and I am so very glad I did it really was worth the search! We are a family of four with a 3 year old and 1 year old so I was looking for something homely with everything we needed and boy did we find it! On arrival we were greeted by Wendy who showed us to the lovely cottage she showed us around and told us how to work the shower and heating etc and much to our surprise she had baked fairy cakes and provided us with local sausages oatcakes and fresh eggs from the farm for breakfast! So thoughtful and much appreciated! Every night of our stay Wendy or Jim came to get me and my daughter to feed the lambs collect eggs and hold some baby goslings we watched sheep sheering collected home grown potatoes and much more! My only complaint is 4 days went far too quickly and I could honestly stay for a few weeks every single part of the stay was excellent and Wendy has thought of everything you need in a home from pots and pans to card games monopoly cot high chair and DVDs! Maddison has left today with a hand made sheep from their sheep and is asking already when can we go and stay at Wendy's farm! We will definitely be back thank you very much wendy and Jim! Xxx
