If we could give it 10 stars we would! The most peaceful and relaxing stay we have ever had. Steven is brilliant, just so nice and helpful, gave lots of personal recommendations for places to eat and visit ahead of our stay. You get a very warm welcome and immediately know you have made a great choice. The accomodation is to a very high standard, we had our best sleeps ever, a very comfortable bed indeed. The setting is delightful, I doubt you could find a better place to wind the days away or as a base for visiting the surrounding area. Ron & Michele

Steven, I'd just like to say thank you for our lovely stay last week. We had a wonderful time in your beautiful accommodation. There was so much space both inside and outside the properties for three generations of a family to have a fun and relaxing stay. The decor and overall presentation of the property is beautiful and extremely high and as a very keen gardener and lover of nature I really appreciated your walled garden and the acres of meadow and riverside all around the property. .We would not hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Hammoon Manor with our two children - the property has everything you could wish for in a relaxing break. It is so well equipped and beautifully furnished - so elegant but also so cosy with a wonderful log burner - perfect for curling up in front of on an evening or a wet afternoon. Fabulous music system too. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog - masses of space for her and the children and the hot tub was a lovely treat. Great walks nearby with lovely pub lunches and Longleat is within easy reach for a day out with the kids - they have free kennels for dogs while you drive round the safari part which worked well. Thank you so much Steven for a fantastic stay!

"A magical place to stay" My wife and I have just enjoyed a wonderful week staying at 'The Apple Yard', one of just two holiday rentals at Hammoon Manor. The accommodation is spacious, very well equipped with everything you could need, has private garden space front and back and a private hot tub with lovely views down towards the river Stour, at the end of the extensive rear garden. There are lots of excellent walks in the area, some of which are circular and start from Hammoon Manor. We were offered free use of the 'AllTrails' hiking app and found it very helpful - much easier than using an OS map! The owners, Steven and Georgina, live in the Manor House next door, so are close by in the unlikely event that you need anything. You won't though because Steven has produced a comprehensive and very helpful digital 'Guest Book'. It's the best we've ever seen for a holiday rental - and we've stopped at many! The eating out recommendations in particular are very good and all five of the ones we tried were both excellent and within a short drive, which was very convenient. There is even an EV charge point, so we were able to charge our EV when required. It's so convenient having this at your holiday rental rather than having to find local public charge points. Just another very thoughtful touch by the forward thinking owners. There really is so much to see and do in this part of Dorset that I'm sure we'll be coming back again before too long.

Hammoon Manor is an extraordinary place to stay. Beautiful inside and out. So much thought and care has gone into making this place deliver as a restful holiday. Dorset is beautiful and hardy's country is a wonderful place to visit. We stayed at the Walled garden, which is stunning and spotless, with such comfy beds. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves too, as no other guests were staying, so we had use of the wonderful hot tub and both lovely gardens. The crowning glory, however, has to go to the field and the River Stour, which was a real treat, we caught a fish too! I would recommend this beautiful place for anyone in need of a proper break and reconnection with life.
