Joanna Slup Schroth Method Scoliosis Clinic

A few years ago my 12yo daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis. Unlike most European countries the nhs wasnt offering physiotherapy treatment, but I knew it was key to treat this condition so I researched private options until I discovered the Schroth method which immediately appealed to me. We met with Joanna and decided to start immediately as time is of the essence at this age for scoliosis. The treatment was quite intense at the beginning but after 4 years (and a brace supplied by Joanna) not only did it help my daughter decrease the curvature (and rotation) of her spine therefore avoiding an invasive surgery, it also very importantly -and I will always be grateful for this- empowered her to look after herself for her present and future life. Joanna gave her an understanding of her anatomy and tools to treat herself independently. She was extremely professional and also personally committed which was key for my daughter to fully engage in the process. My daughter and I are so thankful to have met Joanna and we both highly recommend her.

I come across Joanna on the internet because I had strong back pain. After 2 sessions it totally disappeared and I dont have pain anymore. I can strongly recommend her.

I first went and saw Joanna when I was 16 having developed a severe curvature of the spine. It had started to massively affect everything in my life, but after spending a total of 4 weeks with her I can honestly say it changed my life. Not only did the curve decrease significantly but it allowed me to lead the active lifestyle I had led before. Joanna also gave me the motivation to continue my journey after I had finished my treatment and almost 9 nines years since, I am still doing my daily exercises and feeling a million times better than before meeting her. Joanna is still always reachable and more than happy to have me back or answer any questions I have, which is extremely reassuring. I couldn't recommend enough!!

I initially met Joanna when I was 12 years old with poor posture and curvature of the spine. Through physiotherapy not only did my scoliosis shrink but I gained such an important awareness of my body that cannot be substituted by just an operation! I am so grateful to have met her as I know that treating my scoliosis with this physiotherapy has saved me from a future of back pain and awful posture. 100% recommend.
