(Translated by Google) I was worried after reading bad reviews, but my experience during my stay at St. Christopher's Inn Hammersmith was wonderful. The location is right in front of the station. Hammersmith station is a comfortable distance from the city center and accessible. There are supermarkets such as M&S, Tesco, Lidl, restaurants, IKEA, etc. in the surrounding area, which is very convenient. I stayed for 6 nights on the top of a bunk bed in a room for 18 people on the 2nd floor (1st floor in English). As a Japanese person, I think I'm strict about cleanliness and service, but the bed was clean and the ceiling was high and comfortable. There is no daily change of sheets, but workers make the beds every time there is a change of people. Some people say that the bar is noisy, but I personally didn't mind it at all, probably because it was on the upper floor. Earplugs are distributed, but even if you don't use them, you'll get tired and sleep naturally if you run around London every day. Also, in case a nervous person cannot sleep at night due to noise, the check-out time is set at 13:00 only for this room. I had a good night's sleep and the late check-out was very helpful. I think that the breakfast of 5 in advance reservation was a cheap and high quality breakfast in London where food costs are high. It was nice to be able to eat the tomatoes and cucumber raw. The cheese was thick and firm unlike Japanese cheese, and it was very delicious. In addition to toast, butter and marmalade, there were various juices, oat milk, milk, corn flakes, chocolate rice puffs, canned fruit punch etc. There are 3 showers and 2 toilets, and although it was a room for 18 people, it was never crowded. Both were clean and seemed to be cleaned every day. The shower was a little uncomfortable as the water hit my body while it was still cold. There was a time when the hot water was slightly lukewarm, and it was hard. Toilet paper and garbage were scattered about, and there were times when it was flooded, but it's not a hostel, it's a matter of manners of the guests. Most of the time it was cleaned right away. The space for eating rice was narrow, crowded with people, and it was sometimes difficult to pass through the aisles. Eating in bed is also a concern, so it's a good idea to eat in advance at a park or the like. Laundry is 4 to wash and 4 to dry. Please note that if you make a mistake in the operation method, you will not be refunded. The dry doesn't dry very much, so it's better to dry it yourself. There is no detergent, so let's buy it in advance. Laundry can get a little busy. Your experience during your stay is highly dependent on who you share with. Fortunately, everyone was quiet and attentive during my stay, so I was comfortable. For what you pay for, don't expect more. If there is only one negative point, in the communication with the customer center in advance, I was asking for a refund due to the schedule change, etc., but despite the communication for a month and repeated reminders, there was no movement at all. I couldn't get it. However, when I explained the situation at the local front desk, they confirmed the exchange and refunded me on the spot, so all is OK. The kindness of the local staff helped me many times during my stay. Manager Richard, who made an effort to understand my poor English, and Santiago are friendly and wonderful staff.
