As a hairdresser, I advise hairdressers not to work here. This is my experience. I have a professional diploma and my parents have have a hairdressing salon for 20 years. I moved to London and wanted to try working in this salon. My first day, they started talking in their language about me all the time, very unprofesional and disrespecfull, you can see the low level. The client showed me a photo and since it did not come out like the photo because she has a different type of hair, the one in the photo uses different products and in the salon there were no materials and products necessary to work in good conditions. They didn't appreciate that I was standing for 4 hours doing the job, the nicer I was, ruder they became... they blamed me for the fact that the client didn't turn her hair like Angelina Jolie's. when that is impossible. it was also my first day, I asked the owner for material and he told me to look for it among thousands of disorganized things, My first day I expected him to help , it could take 1 hour to find something. I did't want to go back after that. Their attitude is what you won't be able to stand for another day.

Worst hairdresser in Hammersmith - DO NOT GO (Summary - No face visor/ protective equipment/ health and safety, my forehead is not stained but BURNED (I have two burn marks) and there's bleach left on visible parts of my hair - left uncoloured, almost burned my hair + my lower hair is shades lighter - the hair colour overall does not match) The owner is not a bit drop sorry for causing harm to me and destroying my hair according to his response below I went for a hair colour recently and the colour came out nice but the hairdresser has left colour on my forehead and ears, and it's not coming off. What the heck. I can also see bleached hair (orange) around my ears, forehead - IT IS VISIBLE - she did an extremely poor job, spoke no English (this is not an issue personally but I could not communicate my needs, when i felt pain, what I wanted for my hair or even have a hair discussion which normal part of the job) and kept tugging my hair aggressively. She even blow-dried my hair which was covered in aluminium foil and it was burning like hell HENCE THE BURN MARKS ON MY FOREHEAD. She dropped a lot of bleach and colour on my face.........I could tell that she had zero experience from the way she handled my hair and considering my hair was coloured at the bottom and she offered no professional insight and went straight to colouring it. The owner wore no protective equipment and was coughing, and was ranting about how he does not believe in Covid-19 and wearing masks. What the heck! He was also constantly advising her and supervising which is okay if you are a trainee but the way he handled it just came off as extremely untrustworthy. The environment was extremely unprofessional and I only went there as I wanted to support the local economy however this is an extreme AVOID. I have been to this salon before and I had a pleasant experience but there has been change in staff and this has affected the quality of service a lot. Tips - Hire an actual and professional hairdresser + Take government measures against Covid-19 seriously as I did not feel safe at all I can share image if you email me but I am not posting due to anonymity REPLY TO OWNER In response to the owner's comment below - He agreed the pricing with me at 101 then later changed this to 121. I clearly mentioned cut as well but he said he could not understand me as I was wearing a mask but he could understand colour, blow dry etc.... such a liar and so dishonest! I would have happily paid that sum if he quoted me beforehand but considering the poor quality work they have done, they are even lucky that I decided to pay 110. And yes, I would have also happily paid the full price if he had responded nicely and explained in a polite manner but it was extremely poor. I did not mention the money issue because I was trying to be polite and not add fire to what you guys have already done in ruining my hair and causing burn marks on my forehead. It is a shame that you are not apologising for your poor work and rather going on a rant.....the least I expect is an apology.. She did not initially wear a face mask but later wore it for a while. She took it off whilst washing my hair and asked me to take it off as well. I refused obviously........ Yes, I said the hair colour was nice but I was shaken by the whole experience and I just wanted to leave so I was being polite. Tbh, in the salon, I could not examine everything properly due to lack of natural light and she had rubbed vaseline all over my face so I could not see the burn mark as well. Plus, things escalated when he charged me more than agreed so I did not have time to examine properly. Poor response, manage your communications efficiently...
