Rifleman Firearms Air Rifle Range

2 Part Review: 1 the air rifle bit. I joined the club a couple of months ago. Really friendly team, helpful, polite and professional. The range is well thought out with a good deal to plink, plus two zeroing lanes. (and a visiting barn owl) and the world's bravest pheasant. 2 the safety cert bit I did the firearms and public safety cert today to help with an application for a FAC. Mark is very knowledgeable, thorough, and teaches really well. I was in with an experienced shooter, but again the course presentation catered to both of us without me feeling out of my depth. It's a fair bit to digest, but again, he was adept at keeping us on track and informed in equal measure. He helped me with the selection of firearms to apply for to suit my needs (vermin control) without overloading me with too much info not relevant to me. The practical aspect, of shooting different calibers on the range was great fun. Safety first and enough for me to get to know what feels right (and wrong, check your eye relief before shooting the 308, it kicks!!). A great day which I would highly recommend to anyone serious about safe shooting

The staff and facilities in the shop and on the range are of a high caliber knowledgeable friendly and helpful , I took 4 rifles to be zeroed 3 air 1 FAC Tom did them all quickly and extremely well . While there I noted a double amputee was able to make full use of the range and genuine feeling of "bon ami "prevailed twixt the staff and customers / members which was very pleasing in an age when a grunt or shrug of shoulders is all too common. Accordingly I am going to join the club which offers well stocked hamper of benefits.
