The place itself is terrific, but arriving after lunch allowed little time to visit more than three hides. The management isn't good. My partner has a blue badge so we were dismayed to trudge along the length of the car park, then along the lane, up the ramp, only to be told we had to take a bit of paper to display in the windscreen all the way back to the car, then all the way back to the visitor centre. My partner got worried about closing time, so from one of the hides I rang the visitor centre number because the website said 4pm, but also 5pm during summer, and since the clocks had gone forward we needed clarification. Unfortunately there was just a voicemail option so we had to rush and leave earlier just in case. Under the circumstances, 12 for two didn't give much value.
