As basic as it gets. One train an hour to Southampton (Westbound) and Portsmouth (Eastbound) stopping all stations. Shelter on either platform. Ticket machine on Platform 1 (Eastbound). Both platforms accessible directly from Hamble Lane. Oddly no bus stop or pelican crossing nearby, probably half a mile in each direction. Small layby on the the Platform 2 (Westbound) side for dropping off by car. Given the size of the local population, whoever manages the station could do a lot more to develop it and increase use.

A very nice station. The views of fields with livestock in them. Great walks nearby including the hamble rail trail. Shame about the narrow platforms
