I have had and am still having the same issues as Dan Wilson and Oliver Smeeth. Guy took a large amount of money from me and proceeded to carry out dreadfully sub standard work. Guy turned up randomly, spent more time sitting in his van playing with his phone than doing any work, lied constantly, took 3 months to paint 3 walls and damaged my belongings. All the work he did has had to be done again. I am in the process of claiming my money back which will more than likely end up in the Small Claims Court. Avoid this man at all costs. He is dishonest, unreliable and incompetent. I have also noticed that Guy has cancelled his CheckaTrade account. Probable due to the fact that most of the good reviews sounded remarkably similar.

We were misinformed (he didn't complete the job he quoted for to anything like the stated standard), he was unreliable - cancelling at the last minute and rarely staying more than a couple of hours at a time (so the job took 15+ visits rather than 4), he forgot materials (we had to make to-do lists for him) and ultimately he didn't finish the job - as expected. The person who had to finish it laughed when they saw the quality. That tells you everything. Please don't take the risk with this guy (despite his largely positive checkatrade reviews, some of which I doubt the authenticity of given commonality of language across multiple reviews)
