Had a course of Focused Shockwave Therapy on my knee after sufferering severe pain for weeks. Nim was kind, very gentle and extremely professional. I would have no hesitation in going back to see her if necessary and can highly recommend this form of therapy.

Had a double partial knee replacement last November and Nim has just finished taking me through the post-op. protocol to reduce swelling, increase flexibility up to normal levels, increase strength and develop proprioception. She did an excellent job with charm, and I am grateful. Now I just need the winter to arrive and covid19-free ski resorts to open.

Recently my mother was treated here with the shock wave therapy and physio for the diabetic ulcer on her foot. After seven sessions her wound has visibly diminished in size and the sensibility of the foot increased. We are very grateful to Nim and recommend people with the same condition to attend the treatment here.

I approached Physio Extra 6 weeks ago when I suffered a recurrence of the achilles problem they had previously treated in 2017. Shockwave had been beneficial last time and I knew that I wanted to try it again this time round. Nim was an excellent therapist - she was keen to suss out any underlying issues contributing to the recurrence rather than simply putting me back onto the machine. 6 weeks of shockwave and exercise later I am not quite back to normal but definitely on the mend.
