It was tough work, really tough. You have to take emotional risks. I often wanted to leave but I persevered and Im so so glad a did! You get out what you put in. Its such an incredible and life changing experience! My fellow patients have become lifelong friends. The staff were the most amazing team!! The therapists are very good at their job! Thank You Cassel Hopsital. Thank you for saving me.

Awful place. Expecting vulnerable patients to look after unwell patients is a joke. I got "discharged" after an extremely stressful incident and they claimed I was better. Avoid at all costs.

Just recently completed the 9 month inpatient program. It was pretty tough going at the start and I almost bowed out twice, but I persevered and I'm so glad that I did. I'm so grateful for to the whole of the Cassel community who all have given me a real meaningful chance at life, something I had lost for many many years. Thank you to all of the nurses, HCAs, therapists, psychiatrists, etc.

Was in the adolescent unit some time ago. I have to say that the environment is good. It's a nice place, beautiful house but I had to share a room with a guy I couldn't stand which made my stay difficult. They were very unhelpful on this matter. The therapists are well trained and knowledgeable but their ethos is too Freudian and they haven't adapted with the times. The nurse looking after me was a weak character and was ill equipped to do the job. It's not perfect by any means but these institutions are few and far between. It is a shame it's basically the only place of its kind in London, possibly the country as it's your only option. Getting a referral now is incredibly hard to get organised. The majority of the people working with the patients are volunteers and a lot of them shouldn't have been there but I guess they got desperate. Some of them said things which were inappropriate.
