Easy to access via keypad on main entrance (on secondary door). Room was amply sized and with good facilities. Absolutely spotlessly clean, room and bathroom. Obviously being right in the centre of Haltwhistle you have all the amenities you expect (shops, pubs, takeaways etc.). It's priced very fairly, and we would recommend without hesitation. Disliked Nothing about the property itself. The main parking is local authority bays outside in the street (apparently you can also use a car park nearby). Those bays outside are popular at peak times, but you will usually find one easily enough from late afternoon, and the 2 hour limit between 9 & 6 does mean that you can park for free between 4 in the afternoon & 11 the following morning.

Owners were very good at keeping us informed through the booking process. Room contained information folder and leaflets detailing places of interest. Lovely modern double room with dressing table and armchair. Special touches such as fresh milk, t-bags, coffee, hot chocolate and local biscuits and sweets and Alexa, with free wifi. Great shower and complimentary toiletries, powerful hairdryer. Ideally situated on high street close to shops, pubs and cafes. Only downside would be traffic noise if not used to it. Recommended!

I only stayed here for one night because I didn't want to drive the full 649 miles from Fort William to Plymouth after walking the 80 miles around Loch Ness. It was quiet, comfortable, had a really good shower and I got a good sleep. I also liked the fridge with fresh milk and water in. It was good value for money and right in the town centre.
