Halton Training Camp

I came here with cadets for Christmas camp back in December 2021 the food was ok and the rooms were great . I remember being in cabin 51w. Although when we were there was a lot of the site was under construction and it was hard to navigate around the construction.

Literally the worst facilities of the modern day. Beds are uncomfortable as well as unsafe as the top bunk does not have any railings nor stairs of some kind to get up to. The provided bedding was inadequate and upon asking for more, remained inadequate. The food was ok, nothing much to comment except they kept running out of milk and other items. The ablutions were unkept and the showers were dirty. The toilets were very odorous and most stalls were without toilet paper and locks. Finally, the drying room was very cold and smelled horrible so any clothes drying there smelled worse than they probably even have. I am glad to have left there and surprised I left with an intact sense of smell. 1/5 but would give it less if I could.

When it snowed it came through the ceiling in 2020, got told we could have hot water or heating but not both. Good time overall, reccomend hiding your alcohol in a waterproof bag tied to a tree in the river
