I found exactly what I was looking for! Joined with the Post Office, this is an essential shop for the Halstead High Street, selling everything from books and diaries, to art supplies and stationary. I picked up two A5 pads of sketching paper which I'm actually going to use for writing letters as I like the slightly thicker paper. 25% off. Thanks very much! Also they were dog friendly which is a bonus

I visited the post office counter today in the Halstead branch & was served by a very grumpy & rude member of staff, whose manner was totally inappropriate & obnoxious. There was no remorse for their behaviour, even when I asked to speak with the manager. Who was very apologetic on behalf of her colleague. However, I came away with no explanation of any action for the rude member of staff, who needs some serious training in customer service communication. Sadly this person has cost the shop my business, I will not return to be spoken to as I was, it was totally uncalled for & out of order. Sorry WHS but this needs addressing. (One star is too many, but you can't upload without one.)
