When planning a wedding, choosing your suppliers is so important, because those people are going to be such a big part of your day. You want real people who will make your day better, make you laugh and feel relaxed, bring all that planning and ideas to life on the day and darren did exactly that!! He wasnt invasive, you got to enjoy every second and have it all captured beautifully without feeling like you needed to pose all day. Choosing Darren was the best decision we made, he brought our vision to life and ill be eternally grateful for that, because we have memories to cherish forever.

I would advise you speak to any photographer about how many photographs you expect to receive back, be very specific about certain moments you want captured, and be sure of yourself when asking for specific photographs. Whilst planning for the big day, he tried to encourage us to be flexible (yes, some flexibility is needed) and hadn't allowed us to plan certain events such as the Confetti shot. This meant that our family portraits and confetti shots were ill planned and rushed, and several of our guests reported back that his attitude was not pleasant throughout the day (I would certainly agree). We had also mentioned how important it was to get formal family portraits, not just 'candid' style. Despite posing for these, it was not captured as requested. Unfortunately, I was not happy with our end result either - we only had about 600 photographs over the 11 hours of the day from TWO photographers organised with Darren, and they were poorly edited, if at all. Communication afterwards was blunt and unhelpful. Overall, I would not recommend Darren to photograph your wedding.
