Highroad Well Post Office

Highroad Well Post Office is a great local post office that provides quick and courteous service. I have been there 2-3 times and each time I have received excellent service. The staff is always polite and willing to help with any questions or concerns. They have everything you need for your postal needs, from stamps to packaging materials. I highly recommend this post office to anyone in the area who needs to send or receive mail.

Called today with two Bluecrest Health samples. The chap scanned the first for proof of postage, but not the second? Although he never gave me a receipt for either. When he worked out what they were he said I would have to post them outside. Fair enough. Working to procedures. I also had a Birthday Card to post. I wanted a crisp 5 note and to make the postage up from 2nd to 1st class. Being a Post Office you would expect that not to be a problem - 10p, 5p & 1p stamps? Err no. The solution buy another 2nd class stamp. Err no. He then intimated that as it contained money I should insure it for 6.84. Err no. I assume the chap would be an advocate of the 2m rule. Yet I had to brush past three incoming customers as the exit isle was blocked with parcels?! All in all a bit if a contradictory experience.
