Four weeks ago, I took my car here to have some work done under Peugeot's anti-perforation warranty. I suspected it may have had something to do with a previous repair under the same warranty as it was close to the old repair, and I was told to take it up with Stoneacre Cleckheaton. I went there, and they convinced me that it was unrelated, so I went back to Stoneacre Haley Hill. This time I was told I needed to get a quote from Cleckheaton before they could authorise it, so back to Cleckheaton I went. They took photos of the area and said they couldn't authorise a repair and that had to be done by Haley Hill. I went back to Haley Hill and was told that they would speak with Stoneacre Cleckheaton and get back to me. As I suspected, 4 weeks have passed and I have heard nothing (and I'm sure that I could leave it months or years and they will never get back to me). Their internal operations are a joke and no-one seems to know what they are doing. You would have thought that they could have sent photos to Cleckheaton to get the quote, but they don't seem to understand the concept.of communication (both internal and external). The last time I had a paint repair carried out at Cleckheaton, they managed to break more things than they repaired. Whilst I was very impressed with the actual paint job, I went back at least 3 more times on my dime to have various things replaced that had been broken. To this day I am still finding more things that are broken, but it's difficult to prove. I never even received to much as an apology and one of the problems I had to fix myself, because Stoneacre Cleckheaton tried but failed (long story short, they didn't fit the non-return valve on the rear window washer, causing the wiper to dry-wipe the rear windscreen and then the screen wash to just run down the back of my car afterwards). I would not recommend Stoneacre to anyone, nor would I use them myself if I had a choice. I even had a rattle in my boot lid that was, according to Stoneacre, some excess foam that broke off which they removed. However, months later, after removing the trim myself due to trim rattling, it has become apparent that whoever removed the trim last, broke one of the moulded clips and rather than replace the trim, they just removed the bits that were rattling around. Even though I am not paying for the work; Peugeot is, which makes me a paying customer, but apparently, that's not good enough.
