Harding Music

I have been having lessons with Emily whilst my current violin teacher is on maternity leave and have really enjoyed them. As a busy adult learner I struggle sometimes fitting in time to practice but Emily has always set sensible weekly goals and focuses on key improvements each week. I have found the my music portal really helpful for keeping track of practice too. Thank you!

Happy to have found a tutor my son feels comfortable with, very good value for money, easy budget plan which is very helpful. Friendly, professional piano tuition, lesson feedback is helpful for me to to track my childs progress, and for my son to take on board for future progression. Would recommend for any parent who are looking for professional music tutors.

The staff are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. As an adult student looking to try a new instrument, I was made to feel comfortable, and Emily has gone out of her way to allow me to test the cello (it wasn't even one of the instruments on offer) to make sure it was a good fit before I made a purchase of my own. Lots of tools are provided to accompany and enhance the lessons. Support is available and the staff are quick to respond to any questions. Flexibility in lesson times, duration, and methods of attendance is a real plus. They are also careful with Covid measures.

My 6 year old daughter showed interest in learning the violin, but given her age, we were unsure if she was genuinely going to take that interest forward. Reaching out to Emily was the best decision we took in this regard. She guided us from the start, i.e, from how to buy the instrument. She is very patient with kids and makes classes so much fun even on zoom with stickers on her face . Just as soon as we started classes, we went into lockdown 2.0 and classes went online. Initially, we were unsure how this would work via Zoom. We soon realised that our worries were unnecessary - the classes are going extremely well!! Saturdays are now music mornings. We practice everyday so we get lots of stickers on Saturday morning :-) My 13 year old saw the younger one enjoying learning the violin and now she started with recorder classes and insisted on the same teacher. We are huge fans of Ms. Harding! My kids love their instrument classes and wait for Saturday mornings when we get to meet Ms Harding via zoom. Thank you, Ms. Emily Harding!
