Interesting piece of history. This is a 16th century guillotine located in Halifax. Its not much to look at. The base is original and was discovered in the 1800s but the wooden device itself is a reconstruction. Theres also a very helpful information board. Worth a visit if youre passing and interested in the history. Great for a photo opportunity with your head in the block!
