CEMEX Halifax Concrete Plant

Cemex in my opinion are by far the most reliable, competitive and helpful ready mix concrete supplier. This is for local and further a field. They are always G E Scothorne (Contracts) Ltd first choice of supplier. The Halifax rep Paul Windle and all the local shipping team go above and beyond in an attempt to meet our requirements. Even when the inevitable happens and we experience issues, they work hard to rectify and put in place preventative measures to ensure they are not repeated on future contracts. The innovative Cemex Go system is a really useful tool to have at your finger tips too.

I would say probably one of the best Yorkshire plants that Cemex operate,. Never had any issue's that don't get sorted out quickly, Tony the plant operator/batcher has been there for a number of years and is great at what he does, he helps you out if a problem arises. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to concrete. Always a busy plant but we always seam to get squeezed in if we are desperate for a pour. The latest edition was a Mini Mix service which has proved very much a great edition to the Halifax fleet especially in areas around Halifax with many narrow roads and tracks. The collection service has allowed us to continue supplying smaller jobs and compete with the volumetric operators around West Yorkshire. Well recommend them!!
