Halifax Guitar School

I've been learning guitar with Richard for about 5 months and can honestly say this guy is the best! My playing has come on far quicker than I ever imagined and I'm loving every minute of it. The lessons are fun, enjoyable, personal and completely tailored to you. Richard makes learning easy to understand and gives great support even when you're in between lessons. If you're looking to learn or improve your guitar I would definitely recommend Halifax Guitar School!

I have been a student of Richards for a number of years now and you wont find a better tutor around. He makes you feel so at ease and is very patient (has to be with me) and makes learning guitar a pleasure. Cant recommend him high enough.

Love learning with Richard. I learned guitar at 17. I can pattern pick till the cows come home, but I never learned to use a pick. Rich helps me master new techniques and styles and to break down songs and rebuild them. It's all on my agenda too. He's really encouraging and loves when a pupil succeeds. I can not recommend Richard highly enough. I was a complete beginner when I started. Inside a year I have 6 or so songs under my belt and still learning my. Richard is a fantastic teacher with a great manner and puts you at ease. I now consider Richard a friend as well as a teacher.

My son has been having lessons with Richard at Halifax guitar school for about 6 years now, he started when he was 6 and always looks forward to his lesson every week. I also bring my nephew to lessons and he loves coming too. In that time they have both learnt so much about playing guitar, not only have they learnt many chords they have also learnt the names of the chords and different strumming techniques and about music in general. Richard is very knowledgeable and is brilliant at what he does, he encourages learning songs you like and always makes the lessons fun. Im really proud of how well my son and nephew can play guitar and its all down to having great teacher, I would recommend anyone wanting to learn guitar to go to Richard at Halifax guitar school!!
